Bareenough Sphynx & Lykoi Cattery, LLC is a Licensed cattery permitted through San Bernardino County, located in the High Desert of Southern California near Victorville.
We are an hour and 20 minutes from Los Angeles, an hour and a half from San Diego, and an hour 15 minutes from Palm Springs.
I began my Cattery in 2007. I have had hairy cats for 10 yrs + and I began researching the Sphynx breed in 2005. I bought my first female Sphynx "Pixie" in August of 2007 and my Sphynx Stud "Paximillion" (Big Red Tabby) joined us in September of 2008.
I started working with the lykoi breed early in the discovery of the breed in 2013. I am one of the original breeders who started breeding Lykoi early on with the Gobbles and Cheryl Kerr. There are only a few of us original breeders still breeding the Lykoi cat.
My Sphynx cats are either CFA and/or TICA registered
My Lykoi cats are TICA and/or CFA registered.
My Cattery has all the necessary County permits/license and is an LLC.
I have 2 inspections every year at the Cattery. One is from San Bernardino code enforcememt and the second is San Bernardino County Department of public health, Veterinary Services. I pass every inspection !!
My Cattery name is registered with CFA and TICA
MY Breeding Sphynx adults have been screened for the following :
* HCM Tested
* FIV \ Felv negative
* Yearly fecal's and deworming
* Full examinations of eyes, heart, abdomens, etc.
